Do you offer free auditions?
Yes. Just include your script (up to around 1 minute or so) on our contact form, or
e-mail it. Please include any special directions. For example: conversational, surfer dude, 30’s, reflective, etc.
What is your turnaround time?
Most shorter voiceovers (up to 1 minute long) will be completed & delivered within 24 hours. If you need them faster, we’ll see what we can do. Multiple spots may take longer, as well as most narrations.
What are your rates?
Just let us know the details of your project, including your budget for the voiceover, and we’ll give you a rate quote.
Do I need to direct the voiceover session?
Nope. Just let me know the details of what you’re looking for, and I will record the voiceover on my own & send you an MP3 for your approval. (If your project is longer than 60 seconds, I will record a portion of it for your approval before proceeding any further.) If you would like to direct the session, please book an ISDN session.
Does an ISDN session cost extra?
Recording studios generally do charge extra for ISDN sessions. Please check with your local studio. However, all I ask on my end is that you pay the per-minute ISDN telephone line charges for the session. (Ask your studio for an estimate, as per-minute line rates can vary widely.)
Can you add music and sound effects?
I can’t, but I know someone who can. If you need an audio producer, I highly recommend Phil Gazell. Phil can add music and/or sound effects to my voice tracks & mix it all together just right.
How will I receive my voiceover track?
You can receive your track as an audio file via high-speed Internet or FTP (MP3, AIFF, WAV, QuickTime, Real Audio, Sound Resource, or SDII); have it delivered on CD; or book a live ISDN session.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes. We accept all major credit cards, as well as direct transfers from your business checking account - all via PayPal. (And you don’t even need to have a PayPal account.) If you’re a U.S. client, you can also send checks.
